Glenshire/Devonshire is a family neighborhood located just east of Truckee. Many locals live in Glenshire and like it because if its lower snow load, more affordable housing, and proximity to schools. It is closer to Reno (25 miles) for those who commute or frequently make that drive. Glenshire is a great neighborhood for families and has a strong sense of community. Some areas are zoned for horses and there are miles of trails for riding, biking, and walking.
There is a small HOA fee for homeowners in Glenshire. Amenities at Glenshire include swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, play ground, volleyball courts, BBQ pits, and club house.
