Lake Forest
Lake Forest is a community of single family homes located a couple miles from Tahoe City on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Most homes in Lake Forest are within walking distance to 2 great Tahoe beaches – Lake Forest Beach Park and Skylandia Park & Beach. Lake Forest Beach Park is located at the end of Bristlecone Ave. in Lake Forest and is the perfect place for enjoying the lakeviews, playing horseshoes, swimming, hiking and sight seeing. Skylandia Park is a 24 acre CA State Park with a beach, pier, and swimming area.
There is a free public boat launch near Lake Forest for anyone to use. Some homeowners have exclusive access to a private HOA with beach, pier and buoys. The Cedar Flat HOA provides private beach access to members but no buoy rights.
