Bear Creek
Bear Creek is a pristine and exclusive community located a half mile mile below Alpine Meadows Ski Resort. Buying vacation property in Bear Creek allows you to beat the traffic in the winter, with a one minute drive to the slopes. Imagine cross country skiing from your back door or making snow sculptures on your back deck. For the speed-demons in your family, adventure one mile down the road to our local “E” ticket sledding hill. If skiing is not your thing or the snow isn’t up to snuff, Bear Creek’s pond is turned into a private old fashioned skating pond. Bring your skates, ear-muffs, and your hockey stick!
In summer you will find yourself drawn to the swimming pond with its sandy beach, old fashion rafts, and “rock islands” for soaking in the sun. Once you’ve rested and relaxed close to home, venture a bit further to the Five-Lakes trail-head or mountain bike trails. Horseback riding stables and rafting on the Truckee River are less than 2 miles down the road. The riverside bike path will lead you to beautiful Lake Tahoe and Tahoe City.
There are no amenities in Bear Creek, but lots of activities offered all year long! There are HOA dues for homeowners within Bear Creek.
