Lake Forest

lake-forest_0 Lake Forest is a community of single family homes located a couple miles from Tahoe City on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Most homes in Lake Forest are within walking distance to 2 great Tahoe beaches – Lake Forest Beach Park and Skylandia Park & Beach. Lake Forest Beach Park is located at the end of Bristlecone Ave. in Lake Forest and is the perfect place for enjoying the lakeviews, playing horseshoes, swimming, hiking and sight seeing. Skylandia Park is a 24 acre CA State Park with a beach, pier, and swimming area.

There is a free public boat launch near Lake Forest for anyone to use. Some homeowners have exclusive access to a private HOA with beach, pier and buoys. The Cedar Flat HOA provides private beach access to members but no buoy rights.

Fulton Acres

fulton-acres Fulton Acres is a small community located near Carnelian Bay in between Tahoe City and Kings Beach. This forested, private neighborhood offers incredible views of the surrounding trees and Lake Tahoe. Many homes back to green belt offering many trails for hiking.

Most properties do not have mandatory HOA dues for owners in Fulton Acres. Some property owners are eligible to purchase an optional HOA with pier and buoy access.

Agate Bay

agate-bay Agate Bay is a lovely Lake Tahoe community located between Kings Beach and Tahoe Vista on the North Shore of Tahoe. Many properties in Agate Bay are located right on the lake and some have amazing views of this gorgeous bay at Lake Tahoe. This neighborhood is conveniently located just a couple miles from Kings Beach and its shops, restaurants, and beaches.

Amenities for property owners in Agate Bay vary. The Agate Sun Club has tennis courts and a swimming pool available for members. The Agate Pier & Swim Club has 3 tennis courts and a heated pool.

Some property owners in Agate Bay have private Piers and/or buoys but not all.

Tahoe Vista

tahoe-vista Tahoe Vista is a small lake community located near Kings Beach. Some properties are located right on the lake or have incredible views of Lake Tahoe. There are tons of year round activities for visitors and homeowners in Tahoe Vista! There are several hidden beaches to start a kayak excursion from or a boat launch for motorized boats can launch from the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area. The Regional Park has year round trailheads for mountain biking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing. There is also a disc golf course nearby.

There are several different neighborhoods within Tahoe Vista and each has different amenities and HOA dues for property owners. Most neighborhoods, however, do not have HOA dues.

Carnelian Bay

carnelian-bay Carnelian Bay is a lovely community located right on Lake Tahoe’s North Shore in between Tahoe City and Kings Beach. This quiet neighborhood has some incredible lakefront properties, single family homes and a couple of condomimium complexes. The surrounding cities of Kings Beach and Tahoe City offer shops, restaurants, and year round activities.

There are no real amenities for Carnelian Bay properties and only a few neighborhoods have HOA dues.

Some properties have private piers and/or buoys but not all.
